Blooms Coaching is run by me, Sian Morgan.
I live in London with my husband, son and an overindulged cat called Maximus. As you can probably tell from my name, I'm originally from Wales but have been living here for a long time (though it goes without saying that I still support Wales at rugby!).
I'm a chartered Human Resources professional who, after more than twenty years working as a people professional for both large and small organisations, decided to set up my own practice specialising in career coaching.
In my HR career, I worked closely with businesses to help them get the best from their people and amongst other things, I have been involved in running new hire and in-house recruitment campaigns for employees at all levels of seniority. I spent a lot of my time working closely with senior leaders to identify 'top talent' and high potential employees....all of which means I have great insight into the skills and behaviours organisations value in their employees; and I bring this unique insight to my coaching and mentoring.

I'm passionate about helping people achieve their potential but also enjoy getting to know the people I work with. Since qualifying as an ICF accredited Transformational Coach in 2018 I've coached and mentored people from a variety of different backgrounds - recent graduates, lawyers, Finance, IT and HR professionals to name a few!
I've coached people who feel they've stagnated in their career and are looking to get promoted; others have been made redundant and are keen to get a job as quickly as possible. I've worked with individuals who are keen to improve their management or leadership capability as well as those who have been struggling with a difficult situation but don't feel they can talk with their boss about it.
The one thing all my clients have had in common is that they've been serious about making a change of some kind in their career.
HOW I WORK
I've been coaching and mentoring people - both inside and outside organisations - for over twenty years. As a chartered HR professional, I bring my unique experience and understanding of the behaviour of organisations (and their leaders) to my coaching.
My coaching sessions are an hour long and take place on a 121 basis using Zoom. Ahead of your first session, I will send you a questionnaire to complete. This will ask you to outline your aspirations for the coaching and to provide me with an indication of your preferences.
In your first session, we will establish the outcome you are looking for which - through coaching - you will achieve much more quickly and effectively than if you had worked alone.
Through a combination of questioning and other techniques I will guide you to explore and get to the heart of any issues you're facing. You will do most of the talking and in order to get the most out of your coaching, will need to be open and honest. Once we feel the issues have been sufficiently explored and resolutions identified, we will collaborate on the next steps necessary to achieve the outcome you're looking for.
My style is friendly and supportive. As we work together, I will hold you to account and provide you with honest feedback or insights in line with your preferences (which we'll establish at the outset). Coaching with me will be an enjoyable as well as a satisfying and successful experience.
